2009-05-02 - 3rd race: Final test for the 24h-race is a satisfying success

At the last endurance race prior to the 24h-race the Phoenix-team was once again able to come up with a good 2nd position in spite of the fierce competition. The quartet Stippler/Rockenfeller/Fässler/Basseng held on to the leading group during the whole race and could chalk up a good 2nd position in a thrilling final.

Stippler: “This was a successful final test since the Audi R8 is a newcomer on the Nordschleife this year and gets it going better and better. On the Nordschleife dominate other rules and we have to bring the R8 into line with it. We feel confident about the 24h-race.”
