100 Miles Spa-Franchorchamps

2009-07-04 - Great premiere-win for Stippler/Seabrooke
After a refreshing duel between Michael Schrey and Frank Stippler the team Stippler/Seabrooke was able to assert itself in the 100 Miles Race and to go for the premiere-victory with the brand-new ex-Kremer Porsche 934/5 engineered by the Niermann company for Seabrooke. The aim was to keep the petrol consumption as low as possible in order to successfully complete the distance without refuelling stop. There was also the handicap that a screw nut of the wheel attachment loosened which strongly affected the running characteristics of the otherwise very exactely engineered vehicle.
Stippler: It is amazing that we were able to pass the finishing line in consideration of the facts. Uwe Niermann and his team have engineered a fantastic car.
