The Audi R8 was placed in the pole position. In spite of a flat and an additional stop the team achieved the 2nd position anyhow.
Stippler: "The fight for positions with BMW and Porsche were great fun but unfortunately, we got a flat. The central issue is anyway who puts his cards on the table with regard to the classification through the organisation. I have the impression that our competitiors can step up the pace considerably."
