2011-10-29 - Drop out due to accident caused by teammate

After a test run Stippler arrived at the last minute to the closing VLN-race of the year which took place in fantastic autumn weather. Just in time to get into the car and to do the last turn Stippler could immediately undress again because Alex Margaritis did not return from his last stint after a collision with a competitor.

Stippler: „Today, we were more competitive again. The technical commission realised that we had not been at eye level with our competitors with the valid conditions so far. We had the potential to win. Nevertheless, the Manthey-Porsche was extremely strong again. Due to his drop out the way had been cleared for our teammates in our sister car.
