2010-07-17 - Again 2nd overall-placing for Stuck/Stippler/Basseng

Although Stippler had led for a long time, again, it should not be enough for the overall-victory they had hoped for at the 6th VLN-race at the Nürburgring. Braking problems throughout the whole week end did its share that the team was somehow bound to lose.

Stippler: "After the car's write-off, the Phoenix-team had redesigned it from its crude body in day and night shift within 4 days. It ran perfectly - only the brake had to be pumped up in front of each corner the whole week end which fooled us a bit. I assume that we can realistically fight for the victory in the next race without this problem. Many thanks to the mechanics for the real good job."
